Hi, my name is Nicolae and I am a cybersecurity researcher at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and Lund University. I am also the co-founder of CanaryBit AB.

My speciality is distributed systems security - primarily cloud infrastructure, network security and confidential computing. I lead and participate in research projects investigating security and privacy for machine learning, eHealth security, cybersecurity for smart cities and secure orchestration systems for cloud and edge. Other interests include cybersecurity management and enterprise security.

My current focus is on applying confidential computing in the cloud and edge infrastructure and actively disseminate research activities with the cloud computing community.

I speak fluent English, Swedish, Romanian, Russian, and French.
